Mercury
Closer to the sun,
than almost anything or anyone.
Bathing in its rays,
impatiently circling the sun in only 88 days.
The speed of this fire marble is intense,
eventhough Mercury looks dark & dense.
Looking as metalic outside as its iron core,
covered with crators,
as if it were a giant meteor.
It slowly rotates on its axis,
patroling space like a deathstar,
but helping to make life possible
where we are...
