This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
Some momentary
awareness comes
As an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if theyre a crowd of sorrows,
Who
violently sweep your house
Empty of its furniture,
Still treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
For
some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
Meet them at the door laughing,
And invite them in.
Be
grateful for whoever comes,
Because each has been sent
As a guide from beyond.

Each day of human life
contains joy and anger,
pain and pleasure,
darkness and light,
growth and decay.
Each movement
is etched with natures grand design~
do not try to deny or oppose the cosmic order of things.

Ueshiba (founder of Aikido)
Ive broken through to longing
Now, filled with a grief I have
Felt before, but never like this.
The center leads
to love.
Soul opens the creation core.
Hold on to your particular pain.
That too can take you to God
-Rumi
The moment of the rose and the moment of the yew-tree
Are of equal duration- for history is a pattern
Of timeless
moments
What we call the end is often the beginning
And to reach the end is to make a beginning
The end is where
we start from
We are born with the dead- and we die with the living
And the end of all our endeavors
Will be to arrive
where we started
And know the place for the first time
And walk through the unknown, remembered gate
And we shall
be well and
All manner of thing shall be well
-Unknown.
To be nobody but yourself, in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else, means to fight
the hardest battle which any human can fight, and never stop fighting.
E.E. Cummings
